Packing Strategy
Your wedding shoes travel in your carry-on. Not the hold. Not checked luggage. Under no circumstances. The risk of lost luggage is real, and replacements in an unfamiliar city three days before a wedding are not always possible. Pack them in a dust bag inside a structured shoe box — one shoe per bag — to prevent scuffing in transit.
The Two-Pair Rule
